Version 1.7 has been released.
It adds automated frame tweening, object manipulation enhancements (keyboard) and support for additional audio formats. It can be downloaded from the usual downloads page.
Please see the updated help files for details on how to use the new tools.

Brilliant.
Absolutely brilliant - here's hoping I don't have to cite Artoonix in a divorce case once I start playing with the new features. I'll be fascinated to see how you have managed to implement tweening because if this works as well as it could, then you'll be in a good position to compete against many of the long-established examples of animation software.

For anyone checking out this release notice .......
Here's a quick note about where, in Help for v1.7 you can look for new information.

As far as I can see, no apparent changes have been made to ‘Step-by-step’ or ‘Animation projects’
Changes HAVE been made to ‘Working on a project’ and ‘Frame Editor’
I haven't as yet found any information about additional audio formats - but it's probably there somewhere.

TWEENING
Listed as a topic heading in the sidebar menu for ‘Working on a project’.
To find it for yourself, look for ‘Working on a project’
Then look for ‘Reverse selected frames order’ and ‘Tweening’ follows it and now precedes ‘Mult-frame operations’. The notes are quite extensive and detailed and span pages 5-7

OBJECT TRANSFORMATIONS WITH THE KEYBOARD
Listed as a topic heading in the sidebar menu for ‘Painting the pictures’
To find it for yourself look for ‘Object deformations’ and the new topic follows it (page 11)

I'll repeat this info in the 'General discussion' thread as well.
