When I first saw this forum, I was looking to see if there was a version of Artoonix for Linux, So,since I had to e-mail support or artoonix, to register to the forum, I also explained that I was wanting to find out about if there is a linux version,.. They did explain, that there is not any ,... but also, still registered me to the forum.
Ok, well, I am happy to say, that I am able to run Artoonix, just fine, useing Linux,..they have a Windows emulator, of sorts, that can run some windows software, mostly games, notepad,.. ..it is called, Wine, and it works fine to run artoonix, the trick, was to install artoonix useing this Wine, and thats all there was too it,..
So I just wanted to pass this on, in case anyone else, is useing Linux, and wants to install Artoonix,...

We never planned to use Artoonix on Linux/Wine so it is interesting experience. Theoretically it may work fine because Artoonix uses only basic Windows functions.

Well anyway, I am happy it worked,..it kind of surprised me, because alot of tthings don't work,..They tell the user that too, wine is fairly limited, but it is working great.
Thats nice , because, I don't have to exit linux, and then re boot with windows,..when I use artoonix,...
I did my avatar with artoonix, a long time ago,..
I do alot of my drawings useing another program, but I use artoonix to \"compile\" and make the .gif
Guess thats about it, for me it is very late (midnight) and I work in the morning. Which is also, why I still haven't really finished any \"full \" animation,..although I am working on a couple, it will take some time,..
